Homework For Year 2 Maths Sat

Key Stage 1 SATs consist of formal assessments in maths, reading and writing and take place at the end of Year 2.

We have lots of resources available to help you consolidate key literacy and numeracy concepts at home. Start by reviewing our Key Stage 1 worksheets to see what your child is learning in Years 1 & 2. Then work through our KS1 SATs revision course. Finally, let your child have a go at some KS1 SATs past papers and our exclusive KS1 SATs practice papers.

For even more ideas we have a KS1 SATs pack with 26 teacher-recommended activities to help with reading comprehension, spelling, writing, addition and subtraction, time, shape and measurements, counting and problem solving, and handling data.

On 14 September 2017 the Department for Education announced that Year 2 SATs will be made non-statutory (so schools will be able to choose whether to adminster them or not) from 2023. Until then children will continue to be assessed in May during Year 2.
